1st blog for Mdm. MoNiSa

hi, im nik radhiah bt nik aziz. im originally from Kota Bharu, Kelantan...here, i wanna share with u all guys about the importance of vitamin. as we all know, vitamins are an organic chemical compounds required in small amounts by the body. without we realize there are thirteen vitamins that needed by the human body. most of them be ingested as the body is not able to make them. vitamins may be classified into two types fat soluble and water soluble.









The fat soluble vitamins are vitamins A, E, D and K. As they are fat soluble, they can be stored in body tissue and need not be taken everyday.








Water soluble vitamins like vitamin C and the B vitamins, need to be taken every day because the are used up and excreted by the body.


vitamin deficiency can cause conditions like scurvy (lack of vitamin C) and rickets (lack of vitamin D). it is important to eat various types of food in order to get the vitamins required for the healthy functioning of the body. however, taking more than the required amount of the certain vitamins may have an adverse effect of the health of the body.
